Brief Bio & Significant

Contribution done to

TAGDV 

§  Lives in Exton, Pennsylvania, with my wife and two children.

§  Working as Director of engineering in a leading telecom company.

§  Took the initiative with a small group of friends in 2018 to establish a Tamil School in Exton, resulting in the founding of Exton Tamil Palli.

§  Actively serving as a substitute teacher and volunteer at Exton Tamil Palli since its inception in 2018.

§  Served as TAGDV Secretary for two years (20202021), overseeing administrative responsibilities and organizational activities.

§  Orchestrated a fundraising initiative on behalf of TAGDV, collaborating with TNF and FETNA to support those affected by the second wave of COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu.

§  Conducted more than 30 interactive webinars and workshops, encompassing diverse subjects, benefitting the Delaware Valley Tamil community in areas such as Tamil literature, Thirukkural, estate planning, immigration, college admission, siddha and health.

§  Established a virtual learning platform for TAGDV Tamil schools, ensuring uninterrupted Tamil education for over 500 TAGDV Tamil students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

§  Actively represented TAGDV at FETNA annual conventions since 2019, contributing as a volunteer across various FETNA committees, including pivotal roles in the GTEN – World Tamil Conference organizing committee in 2019 and as a member of the FETNA tech committee (2020-2022). Presently serving as the FETNA tech committee chairman, leading various projects.

Patrons 

If I get elected in to the TAGDV Board of Trustees, I aim to

§  Collaborate with the Executive Committee harmoniously to propel and advance the Association’s objectives.

§  Facilitate the overhaul and modernization of the policies governing the Association.

§  Ensure that TAGDV safeguards the privacy of its members, children, and their personal information.

§  Promote the development of Tamil heritage across the entire tri-state region.

§  Collaborate with other Tamil non-profit organizations to benefit TAGDV members.

§  Ensure that TAGDV becomes a hub dedicated to the advancement of the Tamil community.
